PNP – Saskatchewan (Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program)

The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) is Saskatchewan’s Provincial Nominee Program,
designed to attract skilled workers, international graduates, entrepreneurs, and farm operators who can
support the province’s labour market and economic growth. The program operates in partnership with
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
Applicants nominated by Saskatchewan may apply for Permanent Residence for themselves and their
eligible family members. Final Permanent Residence decisions are made by IRCC.


SINP Categories & Streams


1) International Skilled Worker Category


• Employment Offer – for candidates with a valid job offer from a Saskatchewan employer
• Occupation In-Demand – for skilled workers in occupations needed in Saskatchewan (no job offer
required)
• Express Entry – for candidates with an active Express Entry profile meeting SINP criteria


2) Saskatchewan Experience Category


• Skilled workers currently working in Saskatchewan
• International graduates from Canadian institutions working in Saskatchewan
• Health professionals and hospitality sector workers (where applicable)


3) Entrepreneur Category


• For experienced business owners or senior managers
• Requires active investment and management of a business in Saskatchewan

• Applicants must sign a Business Performance Agreement


4) Farm Owner and Operator Category


• For experienced farmers and agricultural entrepreneurs
• Requires purchase and active operation of a farm in Saskatchewan
• Applicants must demonstrate relevant farming experience and financial capacity
Application Process
• Create an online SINP account and submit an application
• Upload all required supporting documents
• Receive provincial nomination if approved
• Apply for Permanent Residence through IRCC
• Apply for a work permit if eligible while PR is being processed


Processing Time (Indicative)


SINP processing times vary by category and application volume and are updated periodically by the
province. Provincial nomination processing may take several weeks to several months depending on the
stream. Federal Permanent Residence processing times are determined by IRCC.
